The African Diaspora 126+ is a registered legal lobbying organization advocating for the Right of Return policy for people of African descent. Specifically, we speak for the Historically Unique Group (HUG) , those victims of the Transatlantic Enslavement period where millions of Africans were killed, captured , mutilated and forced to labour for 400 plus years without compensation or justice.

The name African Diaspora 126 plus was taken from the Year of Return Citizenship  experience in Nov 28, 2019. In that year, 252 Africans from the Diaspora were designated via Executive Order from the President to receive Ghana Citizenship. However, the number was cut in half due to a botching of  the names and the process.

The 126 refers to the number of African descendants that received citizenship en masse. The plus refers, not only to the 126 that was left off the original list but also refers to the millions more who have the Right to Return to Africa .

The African Diaspora 126 plus calls on all African governments or Traditional African kingdoms to provide a policy or framework that outlines the process for those who choose to Return to our Ancestral Homeland.
